These free samples have been around for sometime now, but surprisingly a lot of my family and friends didn’t know about them. The only thing that you have to pay for is shipping, which comes out to $3 and change for my address (may vary depending on where you live). Who doesn’t love free, right? Plus I think this mineral makeup is great! It doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin, blends well and they have tons of colors to choose from.
It’s really simple to order. Just go to www.everydayminerals.com and add the Free Sample Makeup Kit to your cart. Then the fun begins. You get to choose three foundations, one blush and one concealer. Just find the colors that you want and drag them to your cart. Once your cart has the five products in it, check out. That’s it. The makeup arrives at my door in about a week after my order is placed.
There is no limit to how many times you can order this free kit either. I think I’ve gotten 4 already and counting : ) It’s a great way to try out blush colors, or find your perfect foundation shade, especially when your skin gets darker or paler with the changing seasons. Some of the blush and concealer colors make great highlights and eyeshadows as well. Also, if you pick a foundation color that is a couple of shades darker than your skin tone, you can use it as a contour color.
Each sample jar is roughly the size of a quarter and contains about 5ml of product, which is pretty generous. I haven’t even made a dent in my blushes or concealers. The jars come with sifters, but are too small to swirl a powder brush in, so I tap a little into a bowl that I use just for makeup and swirl in that. This is also a good way to mix colors.

Let me know if you’ve tried the free sample kit fom Everyday Minerals and what your favorite blush colors are!
